Fehrenheit History

When Calgary DJ Domenic G founded Fehrenheit Wednesdays, his goal was a simple one: he wanted a club night
that would bring good friends together to party and listen to the music they love. Six years later, you can see that
accomplishment reflected in every smiling face at this incredibly popular event.
From the very start, Fehrenheit Wednesdays found a place in the hearts of Calgary's electronic music lovers.
For one night a week, Gotham Night Club became an oasis where the problems of the woutside world would cease to
exist. Inside, all that mattered was the DJ, the dancefloor and the sweet beats in between.
When Gotham closed its doors, Fehrenheit found a new home at The Republik. This is when the night truly
began to take off in popularity. It also marked the first of many venue changes to come. The Embassy
Nightclub further expanded on the success of a long stint at the Republik. As time passed, Fehrenheit had
gained a reputation for bringing top-notch DJ talent to town. So when Pandemonium offered itself as Calgary's
first "superclub", naturally Fehrenheit was there to showcase some truly incredible acts.
Fehrenheit then moved to Shadow Nightclub. The club had a warm comfortable feeling much like
Gotham, where it all began. Fehrenheit currently finds it home back at the Embassy Nightclub. By far the most powerful
feeling is the vibe shared between the faithful Fehrenheit regulars. Some got hooked back at the beginning, others
more recently... but they all share one thing in common:
They couldn't possibly imagine spending a Wednesday night any other way.
